I love wrapping presents. I love coordinating papers with embellishments. This year I participated in a Secret Santa. The present was a couple different sets of lime & red ornaments and a few family recipes. I had red ornament wrapping paper leftover from last Christmas and chose lime ribbon for the bow.
Quick tip for cutting those chevrons into the ribbon?
Fold the ribbon in half.
From the open side, cut on the diagonal up towards the fold.
Voila!
But the package needed even more green, so I scanned in the lime green ornament.
In photoshop, I deleted the background around the ornament. Then I saved it as a jpeg and used it as a little logo for my recipe cards.
I also used my new logo on the shipping & return address labels. {CUTE!}
Hope she likes it!
Secret Santa? How fun! 🙂 And that little ribbon cutting tip is extra smart! I didn’t know about it but will be doing it all the time now, lol. Thank you!
Happy wrapping…. looks great!
