Saturday we were debating a satin or semi-gloss finish to wrap up our our floor refinishing project.

And the WINNER IS…..

SATIN!

SATIN WINS!! THAAAAAAAAA SATINS WINS!

This is one of those cases where it was best with to go with the professional’s opinion. While Jon (our floor guy) gave us both options and would have put down whichever we picked, he recommended satin.

Of course I agonized over it, Googled, polled our parents, and posted here before making up my mind.

In the end, I think it’s the right call. We popped over to the house about midnight Sunday to take a peek. I forgot my camera (I know. I stink.) but, take my word for it, they.look.amazing. Oh! I didn’t tell you which color we picked. Tomorrow. I promise. 😉

The final coat of satin is going down as I type. WHEEE!!!! I’m so excited!
