Remember that vintage dress form I found yesterday at Amber Lion Antiques?
I waffled about bringing her home {even negotiated the price down a little!} for the better part of 45 minutes before my meter ran out. Acutely familiar with New Brunswick’s Parking Authority and their deep love of parking tickets, I left her there.
Walked to my car.
Got in.
Pulled onto Rt. 18 south.
And promptly got off at the first exit and went back to the store.
She’s not perfect but experienced and loved. She has a past; a little worn but completely beautiful.
I guess I can see it…
It’s a bit odd, but better than the baby-doll molds 😉
LOVE her!! I totally would have gone back for her too.
I just came here via Newlywoodwards and love your blog. Can’t wait to see what you choose to DIY!
I’m flattered you named her for me!
GO CHECK OUT MY BLOG.
It’s a total Brick City Love orgy.
I am stopping over from Lily’s Place. She totally loved on you hard today so I figure there must be something special over here. My, oh my, was she correct! The last picture of your treasure, a-MAZ-ing!!
Just the kind of treasure your new home needs!
What a find! Of course, this comes from someone with two mannequins at home.
She looks like a lady with some experience and some stories to tell. Lovely find!
Oh its awesome. And I totally missed this post (I promise I wasn’t stealing your idea, I named my dressform when I got her in October – no clue you did the same.)
Oh I didn’t think that. No worries! “Great minds”, ya know? 😉
